Seed pods and beeswax (2001 - 2006)

2001 - 2006. Inspired by the prolific eucalyptus seed drop in the San Francisco Bay Area, this series evolved into a departure from my usual abstract forms. After experimenting with the materials, I began making representational forms imitating ordinary objects. Each sculpture in this series is made to the scale of the original item. These became a sort of nostalgic collection of “clues” from some imagined mystery or film noir.
